The
Generation S.N.A.P. Campaign
The Campaign began
in response to recommendations of more than 100,000
concerned parents, educators and several experts on
the subject of psychological urban warfare to reduce
the decline in the black neighborhood of media perpetrated
disorder.
The campaign was developed with
input from partner organizations and focus groups conducted
across the country. These groups revealed that most
citizens agreed with the need to do something but lack
the solution to correct the problem. The same concerns
exist through out many levels of educational and governmental
agencies.
Court systems, local, state and
federal agencies are constantly creating programs to
try and alter how the black community interacts with
one another. When the true solution to the problem must
take place inside of the individuals that make up the
community in the same way that the real change must
take place within the two cousins and how they interact
with each other to repair the disconnect that has developed
over a period time.
Research strongly supports the
urgent need to find a solution, provide extensive training
and resources to show people how to get back to the
basics by first understanding where the problem originates.
The highly acclaimed publication written by Professor
Alfred “Coach” Powell entitled Hip-Hop Hypocrisy:
When the Lies Sound Like the Truth methodically walks
the reader step by step through the psychological traps
devised to destroy the potential for success within
the hearts and minds of our black communities.
Once we understand the problem
then we can begin the process to cure the ailments that
exist in our communities. It is up to us to get the
job done. Our training programs will S.N.A.P. (Stimulate
Natural Analytical Processing) our people back to the
tried and true disciplines that have carried us as a
people through hundreds of years of trials and tribulations. |
